Baxter is a gorgeous 6-year-old grade bay gelding standing 14.3 hands tall. He is stout made, shapey, and put together the right way.
He is a seasoned trail horse with lots of miles exploring mountain country and truly enjoys seeing new terrain. He has also been used on the ranch to check and move pasture cattle. Baxter neck reins one-handed and will ease around on a loose rein wherever he’s pointed. He moves off leg pressure and is simple to operate.
He has a smooth, rocking-chair lope and is comfortable in all his gaits. He picks up both leads with ease and lopes beautiful circles.
Lead him to a mounting block, smooch to him, and he’ll side step over to make getting on easy. He has never offered to buck or be humpy and is good to shoe, haul, and bathe.
This is a beautiful bay gelding in the prime of his life with the ability to go many different directions.
