2020 Bay Gelding

Beckett is a 5 yr old APHA bay gelding that stands just under 15.1h. Started in a cow horse program and has a great cow horse pedigree. This horse is extra fancy broke and has an excellent one hand neck rein on him. Turns around both directions correctly and will step to his leads both ways and has a rocking chair lope. He will lope pretty circles in the arena and has a big stop. This horse has been used on the ranch and is pretty handy at everything he does. He has been started in the arena tracking Roping Steers and would finish into a phenomenal Rope Horse. He has a lot of natural rate when you put him on a cow and likes to work cattle.. Beckett has been extensively ridden in all the different terrain out on the trails and will safely go anywhere he is pointed. Crosses water easily and does not hesitate at all the different obstacles. You can open and close gates off of him and side passes easily. He has never offered to hump up or buck and has perfect manners on the ground. Very good for the Farrier and is a gentleman to haul in the trailer. He is easy to catch and very gentle. He is trained to let you step up on a mounting block, or fence and simply Smooch to him and he will side step over and let you get on. Beckett is a gorgeous solid bay gelding with all black legs and really stands out wherever he is. Has been ridden all over the big sky country of Montana through the mountains and the creek bottoms.
