2018 roan gelding

Lemons Boone Wine “Boone” is a 5yr old AQHA Registered Blue Roan Gelding that stands 15 hands. This pretty steel blue guy is unique colored and has  good black hard feet on every corner. He has been used as a Ranch and Trail horse doing all the different ranch chores. This guy is great to sort and work cattle on and is calm, quiet and try’s to be a great partner. He has been roped on doctoring cattle in the pasture and inside the arena roping slow cattle heading and heeling. He is doing great and on track to be a nice Rope Horse if given the chance. Has a lot of natural rate and will pull hard from the saddle horn. He’s good in the Branding pen and has drug his share of calves to the fire. This horse always stays gentle and has never offered to Buck or be silly. Even though he is just a five year old he has had a lot of practical use and a lot of good outside miles and he is used to working for a living. He walks out fast and is not spooky by nature. He crosses all the water obstacles and is great to take to the mountains. He goes uphill and down and is sure footed. Boone is a very talented individual and is very trainable. If you show him what the job is he picks it up very quickly. He will lope pretty circles and pick up his leads both directions and stops hard on the word whoa. He will side pass to open and close gates and Will turn around correct. He has a good one hand neck rein and will keep the bridal reins swinging going down the trail. He is happy to be in the lead or in the back of the line. Loads and hauls with no issues and is good to shoe. This is a  neat young horse in the prime of his life and gorgeous to boot. We have enjoyed having this guy in our program. We usually ride these younger horses a few years longer before we offer them but this horse is mature minded and we know he will do a good job wherever he ends up. Could go many different directions with this one. He is easy to catch and great to be around on the ground.
