2016 Sorrel Geldings

Briggs is an 8yr old Sorrel grade quarter horse gelding that stands 15.1h tall. He has a flaxen mane and is straight legged with no bumps or blemishes. He is a well broke gentle guy that is kind and calm to be around. He has a great one hand neck,rein and has all the proper buttons on him. He is Excellent to ride down the trails and in the mountains. He is very sure footed and will always try hard. Has a fast walk and confident way of moving. He will lope pretty circles and turns around correct. Great to open and close gates on. He has been roped outside on the ranch and has done all the different chores such as sorting and gathering. If you need help getting on him, you can climb up on your mounting block or fence and just smooch to him and he will side step over and let you aboard. Easy to load and haul in the trailer and will back out like a gentleman. Stands quiet for the farrier And has no bad habits. This horse has been used pole bending and is lightly started on the barrels. Would be a really nice horse for someone looking for a multiple event, type horse for rodeo and play day events. He is quick, moving and snappy when you need him to be but he will drop his head and quietly go where you point him. He is one that you can put big long, hard days on, and he will still be going strong at the end of the ride. He is easy to catch and will quietly stand all day with a bridle rein wrapped around the fence rail and will not have a hole dug when you get back. Not barn,  or buddy sour.  Great to ride alone or in a group. Ridden by both young and old riders.  This is a solid, sound, good looking guy in the prime of his life.
