2013 Buckskin Gelding

Bulldog is a grade 12 yr old Buckskin quarter horse gelding that stands 15.1 hands tall and weighs 1250 pounds. This is an all around Ranch and Trail horse deluxe. This is one of my favorite horses. He is extremely broke to ride in every way and has done every job you can do on the ranch. He is great to work cattle on including roping sorting and branding. He makes it easy to sort cows on and will really get down in front of one when you need him to. Bulldog is really fun to rope off of and knows where he is supposed to be. He is very stout to the horn and will pull anything you latch onto. You can easily open and close gates off of him. Will step to a short lope both directions and always picks up his leads correctly. This guy has a running walk that will really cover the country. He is not spooky or watchy when going in the mountains and down the trails and will always give you the hustle needed to finish the day. He is very gentle and family friendly. He has never offered to buck or pull back and has good manners all the time. He is good for the Farrier and stands like a gentleman. He is also trained to let you step up on a step or fence and simply smooch to him and he will side step over and let you get on and he will not move his feet until you pick up those reins and send him forward. He has been in the high country and wilderness areas and has experience crossing bridges and packing out horns and game. He will highline and hobble and is good around the camp. We really love this horse and it is hard to want to sell him. We know whoever ends up with this guy Will love him. he is 100% sound in every way and is gorgeous to boot.
