2021 sorrel gelding

Cash is a 5 year old AQHA Registered sorrel gelding that stands 14.3 hands tall and is stout made. He is as cute as they come with a long mane and tail and is an own son of the legendary Walla Walla Whiz with Shining Spark and other great cow horse bloodlines throughout his papers.

This is a very gentle, fancy broke gelding that the whole family can enjoy. He is the kind you can go get any ranch job done on, then throw the kids or grandkids on him to ride home. He has a reining horse background and all the training is there. He will lope nice circles, pick up both leads easily, spin both ways correctly, and has a big stop. He stays soft in the bridle and always between the reins.

Cash has been used on the ranch sorting and penning cattle, opening and closing gates, and he absolutely loves working cows. He will pin his ears and stalk one like a border collie. You can rope off him as well, and he has spent time in the branding pen dragging calves to the fire.

He is also trained to side step over to a mounting block or fence with just a smooch, making him easy to get on from anywhere. Cash is an excellent trail horse and has spent lots of time winding through the creek bottoms and mountains of Wyoming and western Montana. He is confident outside, crosses water and logs with ease, and is use to deer, elk, and other wildlife. He is not the spooky type.

This is the kind you can lay off for months, saddle up, and go right back to work without any fuss. He has been ridden by both older riders and younger riders and is safe, gentle, and dependable.

Cash is versatile enough to go several different directions. He could easily finish into a breakaway or team roping horse, or make an outstanding sorting or team penning horse. He is the kind you can catch wherever you find him, throw a string around his neck, and ride him back to the barn.

He jumps right in the trailer, hauls well, backs out quietly, stands good for the farrier, and loves a bath after a long ride.
