2013 Buckskin Gelding

Deuce is a beautiful grade 12 yr old Buckskin gelding that stands 15.2 hands. This such a nice all around ranch and trail horse that is very accomplished. He is a very good cow horse and has done it all. He is great to ranch rope on and has had some roped in the area as well. Great to sort on and will really watch a cow. He has a lot of natural rate and always knows how to be in the right place. He has drug hundreds of calves to the branding fire and is always calm and cool. Has logged many miles out on the trails all over the Rocky Mountains. He crosses water and bridges and is a pleasure to ride and be around. He is not spooky and has been ridden by young riders and old. He has a good one hand neck rein and knows all his maneuvers.    Slow smooth lope and will easily step to his leads both directions. He is trained to let you get on from a fence or stump or mounting block. Simply smooch to him and he will swing over and let you on and will not move till you pick up those reins and send him. He is a perfect gentleman to be around in every way and is easy to catch. Good to shoe, bathe and haul. You can wrap a bridle rein one wrap around a rail and he will quietly stand for hours till you return. Not at all buddy or barn sour and will easily ride out by himself. This is one of our favorite family horses that unfortunately is getting to that age where we have to help him find his new home and ride the younger ones. He will be greatly missed.
