2016 Sorrel Gelding

Dually is an AQHA registered 9 yr old sorrel gelding that stands 15.3 hands. This is good looking guy that is one of a kind. Has a great mix of world champions stacked deep on his papers. Like First Down Dash, Dash Ta Fame ,Doc Olena and Dual Pep. He has the perfect mix of foundation cow horses that are bred to run. This guy is extra gentle and very fun to ride. I look forward to riding him because I know I will be well mounted. He is great to go do all of the jobs on the ranch including pushing and sorting cattle and is very good to rope on. He has  doctored cattle out in the pasture as well as roping in the arena. He will lock onto a cow and has a ton of natural rate. He is strong and stout and will pull anything you want to tie onto. Including your pick up if it needs a pull start on a cold morning. You can lead this guy up to any step or stump or the back of your horse trailer and simply smooch to him and he will side step over and make it easier to get on. He is fancy broke, especially for a big horse and easily steps to a soft, slow lope both directions. He turns around correct both ways and has a big stop when you say whoa. Easy to side pass to open and close gates from. He crosses water and obstacles and has had lots of trail miles pushing cows around the mountains and pleasure riding. He is friendly and gentle to be around on the ground and one that is not spooky or Watchy. He is used to cow dogs at his heels and the regular commotion of Ranch life. Has drug lots of calves to the branding fire and has been in a couple of Ranch Rodeos as well. this guy is great to shoe and has good hard  black feet all the way around. He loads in the trailer and backs out like a gentleman. Loves to get a bath when he is finished working for the day. We have had less experienced riders ride him and they do great. this horse could be finished into a team roping horse with very little effort and could go many different directions.
