2012 Sorrel Gelding

Frenchman's Sky is an AQHA registered sorrel gelding that stands 15.1. He is stout made and weighs approx 1200#. he is very gentle and honest in everything he does. He is one hand broke and has a good neck rein on him. He has done all the Ranch chores, including dragging calves to the branding fire and doctoring cattle. He walks out confident and can step out really well. he does not spook or shy at things along the way and is used to crossing water, logs and all the different obstacles along the trail. He is trained to let you mount him off of a fence or a mounting block or the step of your horse trailer. Simply Smooch to him and he will sides step over and let you on. He is the kind of horse the whole family can use and get along with. Has never offered to Buck or pull back or be silly. He is good to shoe and handle his feet. He has done lots of cow work and is good to do most any job. Easy to open and close gates off of. He has been ridden by novice and very inexperienced riders and has done a great job. he is the kind you can layoff for the winter and just go catch him up when you’re ready to start riding again in the spring and he will be the same horse. He has no big scars or blemishes and is completely sound. has been used for some youth horse shows as well, including some 4-H and omxie play days. We are not selling him as a little kid kids horse, but he is the type with supervision that is easy for less experienced riders to get along with.  This Horse has logged lots of trail miles in the hills and is used to wildlife.
