2022 Buckskin Gelding

“Gimme Some Of That” is a 4yr old AQHA buckskin gelding that stands 15.1 hands. He is royally bred with cow horse champions stacked deep in his pedigree. He has been extensively used the last two years on the ranch working cattle and doing all the ranch chores. He has doctored lots of pasture cattle and has drug hundreds of calves to the branding fire.

He is well broke with a great neck rein and has all the proper buttons. He will move off your legs to side pass and open gates. He will lope pretty circles in the arena, easily picking up his correct leads. He is smooth to ride in all his different gaits. He walks out good and crosses all the obstacles along the way. He easily crosses water and will step across ditches. He is not buddy or barn sour in the least and will easily ride by himself or in a group.

He has mainly been ridden on the ranch, but has been started in the arena lead steering and roping slow team roping cattle. He has plenty of rate and has speed to boot. He could go in so many different directions. He could make a great barrel horse prospect and would easily finish into a team roping horse.

He is trained to be led up to a mounting block or step of any kind. Simply smooch to him and he will side pass over and make it easy to get on.

This is a nice young prospect that is ready to go on in any direction someone chooses to take him. We have too many horses to ride at the moment and decided to offer him for sale to anyone looking for an outstanding prospect to finish as they desire.

He has no buck and does not pull back, but due to him still being young, he would probably be best suited for someone with some experience. He is good to shoe and haul and loves to get sprayed off after a workout.
