Heza Smart Rooster

“Rooster” is a 9 year old  AQHA Registered Buckskin gelding that stands 15 hands. This good gelding was born and bred from a great Montana Ranch program near us and has has spent his whole life making a living in western Montana. He has been used to Rope, doctor and sort cattle on a regular basis, and knows his job well. This horse is as cow horse bred as you can get one and it shows. He is great to saddle up and go do any job on the ranch, whether it be dragging calves to the Branding fire or running a gate pushing cows in an alleyway. He can do it all. He has been ridden by both young and old and is a Gentle, honest horse that is easy to get along with and be around. He has a fast ground covering walk and will hustle all day for you. He takes all of the daily obstacles with ease  and is a pleasure to ride and be around. Rooster is very well broke with a good one hand neck rein and will always stay between those bridal reins. Works off leg cues and has all the buttons. He lopes pretty circles and will easily pick up his lead departures both directions. He is safe and dependable and a fun horse to go use. He is very good out on the trails and has logged many miles checking mountain pastures  and cruising through the mountain trails. He will step over downed timber and Deadful with no problem and will cross all the water obstacles. This horse is not cinchy and has never offered to Buck or be silly. He easily loads without any trouble and Trailers quietly. This is a quality Gelding in the prime of his life that has done us a good job. We have enjoyed having this guy around. He is very easy to catch and will always come and find you if you are out doing chores. There is not a mean bone in him. He he is use to having cow dogs at his heels and does not mind traffic, tractors, and four wheelers. he has no brands and no lumps, bumps or blemishes. He is 100% sound.
