Olenas Peppy is an AQHA registered gelding that stands 15 hands tall. He is a stunning buckskin roan that turns heads wherever he goes.
He is extremely gentle and will come find you if you’re anywhere he can get to. He loves being around people and has a confident, kind disposition.
Peppy is very broke and a pleasure to ride. He neck reins one-handed and goes wherever he’s pointed. He lopes nice, correct circles in the arena and picks up both leads with ease. He walks out well and has a smooth, comfortable trot.
He has been used all over the ranch doing a variety of chores, including roping, sorting, and gathering cows in the hills. He’s the kind that can go all day without having to pedal him home. He offers a great combination of feel and hustle, yet stays kind and gentle enough for less experienced riders.
Out on the trails he is confident and steady. He crosses water, downed timber, brush, and obstacles with no fuss. He has been on overnight camps and handled everything very well.
He has zero buck, no pull back, and is easy to be around in every way. He is trained to step up to a mounting block or fence — just smooch to him and he’ll side step over to make it easy to get on.
He trailers, bathes, and shoes well and has no bad habits.
This is a really nice gelding in the prime of his life, ready to go to work. He sells 100% sound.
