2019 Bay Gelding

Marada is a beautiful, Blood Bay 6 yr old grade quarter horse gelding that stands 14.3 hands tall. This guy is the real deal. He has been a Ranch horse, his whole life on a big operation where he was born and raised. He is cow horse bred top and bottom but his mother was not registered. Easy to be around and is very gentle. This horse is extremely Cowy and will not let one get by him without a fight. He is tough and gritty when he needs to be but soft and graceful when easing him around in the arena. He has done all of the Ranch duties, including dragging calves to the branding fire, roping and doctoring in the pasture, and has also had some steers roped on him in the arena as well. I really like this gelding and look forward to riding him every time it is his turn. He is the kind you can lay off for extended periods and just go grab him when you need him and he will saddle up the same every time. He will lope soft, slow circles and pick his leads up both directions with ease. Turns around correct both directions. Good to side pass and open gates and has a big stop on him. This guy would finish into a big time switch Ender team roping horse with very little effort, just back him in the box and go to it. He is all business. he has been out in the big country and in and out of the mountains on the trails. He crosses water, logs and bridges and is easy and gentle to be around. This horse has never offered to buck or be silly. You can lead him up to any mounting block step or stump, and simply Smooch to him and he will side pass over and let you get on and will not move his feet till you pick those reins up and send him. This has been one of my personal horses this summer that I have really enjoyed riding. He tries so hard to do what you are asking whatever the task. He has no bad habits and is easy to catch. Jumps in and out of the trailer and backs out like a gentleman. Loves to get a bath after he’s done working. Stands like a champ to put shoes on and is used to cow dogs at his heels and all the commotion of Ranch life. Can’t say enough good about this guy. He is handy sized but he thinks he’s Superman. He will be missed around here. He’s the one that everybody wants to ride when there’s a job to do.
