2018 Dun Gelding

Maverick is a grade quarter horse Dun gelding that stands 15 hands. He is thick and stout made. This horse is a fancy broke to ride dude that can do it all. You can team rope and head and heel steers in the arena or take him to the ranch and do it all. He has been a working Ranch horses his whole life and is very good at his job. He has been my personal ace in the hole Ranch horse that I love. Outstanding in the branding pen and will sort cows with the best of them. He will lope pretty circles in the arena and has a big stop. Will spin both directions correctly and spent lots of time in the feedlot opening and closing gates and will not miss the play. Can’t say enough good about this guy. You can lay him off for weeks at a time and just go grab him when you need him and know that you can count on him to get a job done. Has never offered to buck, walks fast and will keep those bridal reins swinging. you can lead him up to any fence or mounting block or off the back of your horse trailer and simply smooch to him and he will swing over and let you get on and will not walk off until you’re ready. Good to shoe, Trailer and bathe. Great out on the trails and will not shy away from things along the way. This is a very trustworthy guy that has earned our respect. I wish I had a pen full of them like this guy. he is 100% sound in every way and needs no maintenance of any kind.
