2023 Dark Bay Gelding

Playgun is a three-year-old AQHA registered seal brown dark bay gelding that stands 14.2 hands tall. This is one of the nicest three-year-olds that has come through our program. He is extremely kind and gentle and always gives you his best.

He is fancy broke to ride and has all the necessary buttons on him. He has a reining and cow horse background and has been in good hands his whole life. He has a great one-handed neck rein and is mature and confident beyond his years.

He has had lots of work in the arena and will lope pretty circles, picking up his leads easily, and has a big stop when you say whoa. He will turn around correctly both ways, side pass to open and close gates, and has spent lots of time penning and sorting cattle.

He is a great little horse to rope on and has doctored lots of calves and yearlings in the pasture. He would make an outstanding heel horse or breakaway horse with very little effort.

He is the kind of horse that you can lay off for months at a time and simply go grab him when you need him, and he will saddle up safe and gentle every time. He’s got the perfect mature disposition, and he has truly earned our respect.

You can catch him anywhere and jump on him with a string around his neck and ride him back to the barn. Pull the bridle off and go lope circles or even track steers if you’d like to. He has lots of rate when he’s on a cow and is a natural-born cow horse.

He is trained to be mounted off any step or fence. By simply smooching to him, he will sidestep over and make it easy to climb on. He is the kind we love to ride on our ranch because you know you can get any job done on him and have fun while doing it.

He is safe enough for about any level of rider that knows how to sit up and ride. We can put the kids and grandkids on him, and he is safe and gentle. He walks out great on the trails and easily crosses ditches and creeks with ease. He is confident by himself and does not have one ounce of barn or buddy sour in him.

We absolutely love the way this guy is bred, with cow horse champions stacked deep in his pedigree. He is as cute as they come and has no brands or blemishes. He is great to shoe, bathe, and haul. He will stand tied anywhere with a bridle rein wrapped one time around a fence rail and will patiently wait until you return.
