2018 Grey Gelding

Rico is a seven year old AQHA Registered gray gelding that stands 15 hands. He has a great pedigree with champions stacked deep. He is extra broke to ride in every way. Was started in a reining cow horse program and has a great foundation. He knows his maneuvers in the arena well. He has a great neck rein and has a good turn around. He easily picks up his leads. He lopes pretty circles and has a good stop. He always saddles up gentle and ready to go to work. He has seen lots of miles on the ranch and has been used to pen and sort cattle. He is a pleasure to ride out on the trails and crosses all the obstacles with ease. Goes through all the water obstacles and is not spooky or watchy  of things along the way. Rico is also trained to let you climb up on a stump or a fence or mounting block and just Smooch to him and he will sidestep over and let you get on. Good to shoe , haul and bathe. He has a very fast walk that will cover the country. He is a great horse, too take to the mountains and explore the backcountry. This is a gorgeous young gelding in the prime of his life and could go any direction. Would make a good team penning/sorting horse or a phenomenal Rope Horse.
