Rocko is a 10yr Bay AQHA Registered Gelding that stands just under 15 hands. This is one the whole family can enjoy. Very safe, gentle and honest in every way. Has been ridden by an 80-year-old grandpa to gather and push cattle on the ranch. Also been ridden by kids and grandkids all over the ranch and up and down the trails. Has a great one hand Neck Rein on him and will pick his leads up both directions and lope pretty circles. Watches a cow really well and has been sorted on and has roped lots of cattle in the pasture. He will side pass to open and close gates and is trained to be led up to any mounting block step and simply Smooch to him and he will sidestep over and let you get on. This is a been there done that guy that has been a working Ranch horse his whole life. He is safe, sound and sane no matter how long he is laid off. He is the kind you can just go grab when you need him And he will always saddle up gentle and quiet. Has never offered to buck or pull back or be silly in anyway. He has been used as a lesson horse from time to time with beginner riders and takes it all in stride. He is a sweet soul that doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He loads and hauls good in the trailer and will back out like a gentleman. Whether you ride him once a week or once a year, this guy would be an asset to anyone’s program that is looking for a safe gentle all-around good gelding. Could be a great youth horse as well for experienced kids that know how to ride. Crosses water and all the other trail obstacles with ease and never loses his cool. Easy to catch, bathe and shoe. Can’t say enough good about this guy. Our family has loved him and we are sure whoever ends up with him will love him too.
