2019 chestnut gelding

Slick, is a five year old chestnut AQHA registered gelding that stands 14.2  hands tall. He has a royal cow bred set of papers that have all the legendary cow horse sire’s front and center. He is fancy broke to ride with a good one hand neck rein and has all the proper buttons on him. Spent time in the feedlot and is really good at opening and closing gates. He has done all the ranch chores, including pasture doctoring cattle in the big country and also has been team roped on. You can head or heel on him, but his size suggests that he would be more suited as a heel Horse/breakaway calf Horse. He lopes nice, smooth, soft, slow circles in the arena and picks his leads up both directions very well. He is friendly and honest and will meet you at the gate. He’s got a good fast walk and is not spooky or watchy  of things along the way. Is good in the branding pen and has drug lots of calves to the fire. This is one of those horses that is just easy to have and be around. He is trained to side step over and let you get on from the fence or mounting block. Really good too shoe and Haul. He is fun to sort cattle on and would be a great little team penning horse as well as being a handy Ranch horse . He has no health issues and is just a good minded young horse in the prime of his life. He has done us a great job and has been one we can park for weeks if needed and just pull him out ,cinch him up  and go to work. Though he still is young I believe he will be the kind of horse that you can let the whole family ride. He has a kind eye and willing attitude, and is Gentle.
