 This horse is an outstanding gelding with as good a cow horse pedigree as they come by an own son of the legendary Play Gun and out of an Orphan Drift mare.  He was born and raised on the Babbit Ranch, winner of AQHA Best Remuda Award. This is a big stopping real deal high caliber heal horse. Can really run squares up quick. Stops square and flat ready to help face any head horse.  "Teddy" is a big good looking cherry red sorrel gelding dripping with all the chrome you can put on one. He stands 15.2 hands and is thick made. He has done everything from sorting cows to roping and doctoring in the pasture to hauling him to roping jackpots on the weekend. You can head and heel on him and he is very good at his job. He is a super safe experienced trail horse that has seen it all, Has been to the high mountain lakes and over night camping trips. He is very gentle and does not spook at anything. Can handle inexperienced or timid riders and always stays broke and quiet. He is a finished Reiner with a great turn-around and always a big stopper. He will lope slow or fast and has been shown in reining and in western pleasure classes and dressage shows. He has an impressive show record that includes 35+ APHA points, multiple trophy buckles, and is a consistent money earner. He has perfect manners and is a delight to be around.  "Major" is a gorgeous 15.1 hand gelding that is all black except some brown on his muzzle.  He will weigh around 1300 lbs.  He is extremely well broke in every way.  He has been professionally trained mostly as a working cow horse and is very talented; he has a great turn around and big stop.  He is good with his leads and lopes nice circles.  Great rope horse as well, rope either end in the arena or out in the pasture.  Lots of natural rate and is extremely fast.  We really love this horse and have had fun hauling him to ranch horse competitions and team pennings and sortings.  He is the absolute best horse to take out on the ranch to get your chores done and is always safe, sane, and sound.  Good bone and four black feet.  This gelding is a beautiful buckskin dun that stands 15 hands.  He has been professionally trained his whole life and is very proficient at reining and cow horse events. Nice fast walk, great turn around and a huge stop, has a sweet soft lope, very cowy and is always sharp on a cow.  He has been used as a turn back horse at amateur cuttings and is an awesome penning and sorting horse.  He is also a great rope horse in the arena. you can head and heal on him and is also a break away horse with a big stop. This guy would be an outstanding tie down calf horse. Just needs someone to tie some down on him. Quiet in the box and does things correct. And is always willing to run down a cow. We have ridden him in the mountains and in rough country.  This gelding is ​an outstanding little all around ranch horse. He has that hard to find strawberry roan color and stands 14.3 with good shape and conformation. He is push button broke to ride with a great one hand neck rein and big sliding stop when you ask for it. He has a fast rein swinging walk and goes wherever you point him. Lots of mountain and trail experience. Frosty will cross water, dead fall and is not spooky.  Gentle for anyone that knows how to ride. He is a good minded fun horse to use at whatever you are doing. He has been used in the feed yards sorting and doctoring cattle. He is a well started heal horse with a lot of potential. Tuff is a gorgeous bay roan gelding. He stands 15 hands weighs 1200lbs.  Tuff has done all aspects of ranch life.  He has drug hundreds of calves to the fire. He always stays quiet and gentle at whatever your doing. He can be laid off for months and stays broke and Gentle. He has a ground covering walk that will keep the bridal reins swinging.  You can head and heel steers on him in the arena.  Scores great, can really run and has a lot of natural cow sense. This horse is also an excellent trail horse that has been all over the bob marshal wilderness and is a very fun loving horse to have around camp. High lines and hobbles, has packed out big game. He crosses water and obstacles willingly. He is really broke and has a good stop and knows how to roll over his hocks. He picks up the correct leads. He is easy get gates on and always tries to help you at whatever you are doing.  Tuff has all black feet and has always been sound, and is built to stay sound. This is an extremely safe and gentle finished gelding that you would be very proud to own. Our family has really enjoyed this horse. He would be a great asset to your program.

Streak is a cute made gelding that stands 14.3 hands tall and is chunky made. He is a well broke gelding and has a ground covering walk. Streak has been used to doctor cattle on and worked in the feedlot. He is a great trail horse and takes everything in stride. He lopes nice circles and moves off you legs great. He is super friendly and easy to catch.  Streak is a really nice ranch and trail horse. He is kind and gentle and ready for you to enjoy.

 Gunsmoke is an 8 year old shaping made gray gelding with a lot of eye  appeal and class. He stands 15 hands and is Stout made with a full mane that hangs below his neck.  Very well broke with a good one hand neck rein and a big stopper. Lopes pretty circles and has a good turn around. He also has a good ground covering walk.  We have used him for all aspects of ranch work including roping and doctoring cattle in the mountains and dragging calves to The branding fire. He is very cowy in the sorting pen.  Gunsmoke has also been used as a heel horse in the arena and is talented at his job. He is an outstanding trail horse that is confident and safe. Goes through water bogs and Dead fall with no problems. Easy to handle, clip, shoe, and trailer. Absolutely no hump or Buck.  Anybody that can sit up and ride will enjoy this horse.  Bulldog is a 15.1 hand 1300 lb buckskin gelding that has been there, done that and then some kind of horse.  Great all around ranch horse that is a great rope horse in the arena and outside as well.  Been used to rope bulls at the rodeos and will pull start your pickup from the saddle horn if needed.  Fancy broke to ride with a good turn around and stop.  Gentle enough for anyone to ride and love.  Will ride in a full bridle or a twine string around his neck.  Very confident with a ground covering walk, no spook or hump in him.  He hauls great in the trailer with no bad habits.  Whoever ends up with this guy I know will love him.  Bid with confidence.  This is a hard to come by kind of gelding and hate to see him go, but when we come to Salmon we bring the best ones we have.  Guaranteed sound.  

 This is a fancy bay roan gelding with excellent conformation and chrome to spare. He stands 15.1 hands tall. This horse is fancy broke to ride in every way, with a fast walk, soft easy lope and a big stop. This is an extremely nice ranch and trail horse that has had a lot of use doing all the ranch chores and has spent a lot of time in the mountains and back county of western Montana. Huckleberry is a top-notch head and heel horse that has been hauled and won off of and is seasoned and ready to take you as far as you will let him. This is the kind of horse that can take you to the next level and is solid enough a lower number ropers but has all the tools to rope in the open and at the rodeo level.      Shiner is a nine-year-old grade dapple palomino with a snow white mane and tail. He stands just under 15 hands and is fancy broke to ride. He is and accomplished Ranch horse that has scene lots of miles and country in the mountains and pastures of Western Montana. He is very Cowy  and good to sort on and can run one  down in the pasture and get them doctored.  Pulls hard from the horn and stays quiet He is gentle enough for anyone who knows how to ride. Has a good fast walk and soft slow Lope and is always willing to go wherever you point him. Rolls over his Hocks correct . side passes and open Gates.
