2012 Buckskin Gelding

Sundance is a 12 year old grade quarter horse Buckskin gelding that stands 15.1 hands tall. This is a great all-around ranch, rope and Trail horse that has had lots of great experience. He is very well broke and has all the proper buttons on him. Good one hand neck rein. He will lope nice circles and pick up his leads both directions. He  will side pass  to open and close gates easily. He is trained to let you step up on your mounting block or fence and simply Smooch to him and he will side step over and let you get on. He has been ridden by young and old riders alike, and Takes care of his person. We have used him for a lesson horse at times and he has packed beginners that were timid and built their confidence by the end of the ride. He is very gentle and honest and has never offered to Buck. He has no bad habits and is a perfect gentleman all the time. Has a better than average walk on him and will keep the bridle reins swinging. He  is good to take to the mountains and has logged many miles going up and down the trails in all different kinds of terrain. He is a great cow horse and has tons of natural rate and cow sense. You can take your rope down and rope about anything and he will, pull hard from the Saddlehorn when you ask him to. He is a great partner at whatever you are doing. He does not get Barn sour or Buddy sour and will ride off alone with no fuss. He is sound in every way and needs no maintenance and has no major blemishes of any kind. He has been on overnight camping trips and is the kind that will hang around close and you can trust to let him graze knowing he won’t wander too far off. He has been around traffic and the commotion of Ranch life. He’s used to cow dogs at his heels, and does not get bothered by things along the way. He is not spooky or watchy and is a joy to ride.
