2018 Sorrel Gelding

Tanquery is a sorrel seven-year-old grade gelding that stands 15 hands tall. He is out of a Tanquery Gin bred stud, and a cow horse mare that was not registered so he sells grade. This guy is a really nice ranch and trail horse that is very gentle and has a great handle on him. He is a fast walking, confident guy that is fun to go do any job on. He has drug calves to the branding fire and has roped and doctored lots of cattle in the pasture. He is really good too sort cattle on and will get down and dirty with a cow. He has a good one hand neck rein and operates really well. he will lope nice circles in the arena and has a big stop. Turns around both directions and will easily step to his correct leads. He would make a great team penning or sorting horse and would finish into a team roping horse easily. This guy is fun to take to the mountains to trail ride or gather cows on as he is a fast walker and will keep those bridle reins swinging. This is the kind of horse that I really enjoy riding. He is really good minded and tries hard to be a good willing partner with you. He crosses water and the other obstacles easily and has no bad habits. Good too shoe and haul and loves to get a bath when he’s done working for the day. There is no buck or silliness in him. He is the kind you can lay off until you need him and he will saddle up the same every time. He is trained to let you climb up on a stump or step and simply smooch to him and he will side pass over and make it easy to get on. He is a really nice using Horse that has class and eye appeal with a long mane  that hangs to the bottom of his neck. this is a solid individual that is the perfect age.
