"Traveled from Pennsylvania to check out the horses at Flint Creek and what a wonderful experience! After chatting with Tom about what I was looking for, Tom & his son had 6 possibilities saddled up for me to check out. 

Tom rode them first, explaining the cues he used, how the horse should respond as well as the personality of the horse. Both he and his son were extremely helpful in assisting me as I rode, making it a fun learning experience. I had a blast during the whole afternoon and came home with a wealth of new knowledge as well as a new awesome horse! Am so excited to hit the trails!

The descriptions and videos Tom puts on the website truly reflect the quality, personality and abilities of the horses. These are extremely well-cared for & trained horses with calm dispositions - a true testament to Tom and his son. Their integrity and way with the horses was refreshing!

 I've been looking for a new horse for quite some time. With some health related issues my needs were pretty specific, a little beyond safe, sound and sane. Tom and Riley listened to my needs, took endless time with me showing me horses, and were so patient when they recently showed me two great horses that both fit my needs.

 It was a tough decision, but yesterday I came home with "Mack", a beautiful gray gelding that meets all my needs plus will make a great horse to introduce my grands to horses with. Tom took the time to thoroughly share all about him. He also showed me some training exercises and some tips for making Mack an even better partner for me.

It’s a pleasure to share my experience purchasing a horse at Flint Creek Ranch.
Upon arriving at the ranch I was met by Tom. A wealth of horse knowledge and a true horseman. The horses were already saddled that we had to look through. I was able to ride each horse and watch Tom ride each horse. At the same time receiving Tom’s schooling on how to ride each horse and their tendencies.

What a great experience it was. I did purchase a very niceHighbrow Cat lineage gelding. The gelding is well mannered in all ways. Has all the buttons and is a real looker.
